Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs and QatarEnergy chief executive Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi called for energy to be kept above politics at the 17th International Energy Forum Ministerial Meeting in Riyadh on 11 October. Qatar News Agency reported that he said the regional conflict was affecting the flow of around 20% of the world’s hydrocarbon supplies.
