The company targets first production in the September quarter of 2029. Construction is expected to take about two and a half years, followed by an approximately six-month ramp-up after first production.

The project is expected to make about 67 million tonnes of material previously classified as waste economically recoverable as ore. It is expected to create more than 1,000 construction jobs and around 500 ongoing operational roles. Underground mining would require a separate investment decision.
