PetroNor E&P ASA reported average net working-interest production of 4,298 barrels of oil a day from its PNGF Sud field operations in the Republic of Congo during the third quarter of 2026. The company compared this with 5,045 barrels a day in the second quarter and 4,116 barrels a day in the third quarter of 2025.

The company attributed the quarter-on-quarter decline to an unusually high number of wells requiring workovers to restore capacity. Production efficiency was 90%, compared with 93% in the previous quarter. PetroNor said it had engaged a third crew to clear the workover queue and expected efficiency and production rates to improve in the fourth quarter. September allocations were preliminary; the company said its full quarterly account was due on November 20.
