# Pakistan raises petrol price and cuts diesel for 6 October

Pakistan’s Petroleum Division announced on 5 October that the ex-depot price of petrol would rise by PKR 0.88 to PKR 393.64 per litre from 6 October. High-speed diesel would fall by PKR 1.88 to PKR 397.76 per litre.

The ministry compares these with the prices effective from 3 October: PKR 392.76 for petrol and PKR 399.64 for diesel. It attributes the adjustment to global developments including changes in Platts rates, premiums and incidental costs.
