# Pakistan Railways raises rent from Lahore godown auction

Pakistan Railways said a competitive auction had concluded for 125 commercial godowns at the Badami Bagh site in Lahore. The department said annual lease revenue would rise from PKR 72.2 million to PKR 331.08 million.

A one-year security deposit of PKR 277.72 million is due in addition to the first year’s rent. The department put total first-year realization at PKR 608.80 million; the figures reflect the railway authority’s own account of the auction terms.
