Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met a World Bank delegation on 2 October to review Pakistan’s economic reform partnership and discuss implementation priorities. The government release listed growth, jobs, fiscal management, revenue mobilisation, capital-market development, trade, investment and institutional reforms.

The agenda included a proposed growth-and-jobs operation, access to SME finance and export-finance products for Pakistan’s EXIM Bank. Agriculture, medical products, seed registration, skills and tax reforms were also discussed. The release describes discussion and proposed interventions; it does not announce a newly approved World Bank loan or reforms already in force.
