# NVIDIA outlines supply-chain capacity expansion plans for AI infrastructure

NVIDIA outlined plans on 21 October with six suppliers to expand global manufacturing capacity for accelerated computing and AI infrastructure. The announcement named Amkor Technology, IBIDEN, King Yuan Electronics, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Siliconware Precision Industries and Unimicron. The plans cover substrates, advanced packaging, semiconductor testing and optical engines for co-packaged optics.

NVIDIA said the separate supplier arrangements target capacity increases over the coming years, with some expansions expected to ramp during 2027–2028.
