Tinubu prayed for peace, national unity and stability in Nigeria, as well as wisdom for its leaders and relief from insecurity. Speaking to journalists afterwards, he expressed hope for economic prosperity, social development and greater security for citizens.

The president also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to a country where Nigerians can live safely and with dignity regardless of faith or background. These are the prayers, aspirations and commitments described in the official account, rather than evidence that security or economic outcomes have already improved.
