The revenue index was 0.6% higher than a year earlier, according to the Monthly Services Survey released on 21 October. Total employment was unchanged month on month but 1.8% lower year on year. Real total spending on goods and services rose 0.3% monthly and fell 0.9% annually; total real remuneration declined 0.3% monthly and increased 0.5% annually.
