# Mayo Lake outlines target ranking work for Anderson Gold Trend

> The 2026 plan combines soil-data reprocessing and magnetic inversion to rank as many as six targets for possible 2027 drilling; historical 2017 RC widths remain unresolved.

Mayo Lake Minerals outlined an autumn 2026 targeting program for the Anderson Gold Trend in Yukon on October 22. The trend lies within the company’s 86-square-kilometre Anderson-Davidson property in the Tombstone Gold Belt. Mayo says it will reprocess and reinterpret earlier soil-geochemical results and commission three-dimensional magnetic inversion modelling, with the aim of ranking up to six drill targets ahead of a possible spring-summer 2027 diamond-drilling campaign.

The planned soil work is intended to refine existing anomalies, especially in the eastern part of the trend, and help choose drill-collar locations, azimuths and inclinations. Mayo says it will assess whether the patterns fit reduced intrusion-related gold systems, or RIRGS, and/or epizonal veins. Its target concepts vary by prospect: the company describes Dawn Gulch and Andy Owl as showing RIRGS characteristics, Norman as more indicative of epithermal veins, and Peak and Steep Creek as potentially fitting either style or a combination.

The second component is three-dimensional inversion of magnetic data over parts of the trend where buried intrusions are suspected. Mayo’s geological model treats intrusions as potential sources for RIRGS and nearby epithermal-vein systems. The company says prospecting and mapping have already identified intrusions and possibly altered intrusions, while its internal review of airborne magnetic data noted further features it considers suggestive of buried intrusions and alteration. The inversion is planned to test those interpretations; it has not yet confirmed additional bodies or mineralization.

Mayo’s October release describes a large body of prior target evidence assembled from airborne and ground geophysics, prospecting, mapping, soil geochemistry and soil-gas-hydrocarbon surveys. At Andy Owl, the company cites a roughly 3,000-metre soil-anomaly trend with reported values up to 527 parts per billion gold, plus three other zones totalling 1,080 metres with values up to 101 ppb. The October release does not identify collection dates for these soil samples, so they are existing exploration indicators rather than new 2026 results.

The same release recaps a 640-metre reverse-circulation drilling program at Andy Owl. A government technical report identifies the work as 2017 drilling, conducted July 16–26 in eight holes on two fences about 50 metres apart. Reported intercepts include 0.77 g/t gold over 6.1 metres, including 0.90 g/t over 3.1 metres in one hole, and 0.55 g/t over 3.0 metres in a second hole along strike. The 2026 company update rounds that last interval to 3.1 metres. The holes began in mineralization, and the company says width and grade of the structure could not be determined; the intervals are not established true widths.

That RC evidence is one input to target ranking, not proof of a resource. The historical report says a mineralized structure could be correlated between holes over about 50 metres along strike, but also notes the holes did not fully constrain its width. The 2017 work used reverse-circulation chips, and Mayo’s later release describes quartz-sulphide veins, stibnite, arsenopyrite, pyrite and silica-cemented breccia with gold-arsenic-antimony-mercury geochemical signatures. The company is using the combined geology and geophysics to decide where later diamond drilling could provide better geometry and continuity tests.

Its October 22 release described a non-brokered placement of up to $700,000 as still in progress, including flow-through funds for those tasks. That financing had not been reported as closed in the release, so the described work and any resulting 2027 drilling remain conditional on funding and execution. The release uses "$" for the amount but does not specify a currency.

Mayo says the Anderson-Davidson property lies within the traditional territory of the Na-Cho Nyäk Dun First Nation. The technical information was approved by company president and geologist Vern Rampton, P.Eng., as qualified person. The data block separates the 2026 target count and 2017 RC drilling from the planned 2027 campaign. It excludes undated soil-sample values and nearby companies’ deposits, and it does not convert historical exploration observations into a current resource, reserve or production estimate.

## Data

### Anderson Gold Trend target program and dated 2017 RC results

Planned 2026 target ranking and selected historical RC work at Andy Owl, dated to 2017.

Methodology: The target count is an upper-bound plan for 2026, not completed drill targets. The 640m/8-hole RC program and assay intervals are from the July 2017 field program reported in the government assessment report and recapped in Mayo’s Oct. 22, 2026 release. Both holes began in mineralization; the issuer says width and grade of the structure were not determined, so downhole lengths are not true widths. The 0.90 g/t over 3.1m interval is included within 0.77 g/t over 6.1m. The 3,000m soil-anomaly trend and ppb values are omitted here because the 2026 release does not date sample collection.
