Food and non-alcoholic beverages increased 1.7% month on month, housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels 1.2%, and transport 1.3%. The detailed report records a 2.4% rise for gas and 4.0% for fuels. The index was 8.9% higher than in the same month a year earlier. Inflation measured on a twelve-month average basis was 5.6%.
