# Jordan vehicle registrations rise 13% in third quarter from 2024

An analysis by the Jordan Automotive Dealers Association (JADA), based on initial registration data, counted 33,763 new vehicles registered in the first nine months of 2026. That was 1.6 percent below the 34,307 registered in the same period of 2024.

Third-quarter registrations reached 14,953, up 13 percent from the same quarter in 2024. JADA cautioned that comparisons with 2025 must account for an unusual surge in customs clearance and registration before a cabinet regulation took effect; 13,364 vehicles were registered in October 2025 alone.

JADA's analysis of initial registration data compares the January–September total with 2024 and reports growth in the third quarter of 2026.

Methodology: Figures are transcribed from Petra's 15 October 2026 report of JADA's analysis based on initial registrations from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department. The nine-month and quarterly totals cover different periods; comparisons follow the source, and the exceptional 2025 registration surge is not treated as a normal trend.
