# Grande Portage signs gold offtake agreement for Alaska’s New Amalga

Grande Portage Resources said on October 1 that it had signed a definitive commercial agreement to sell production from its New Amalga gold project in Alaska to Ocean Partners. Subject to a minimum-tonnage requirement and other conditions, the agreement may cover up to 100% of production during the first seven years of commercial operation.

The company said the agreement sets metal payabilities and deductions across product grades for use in economic studies. A separate US$25 million revolving credit facility still requires confirmatory due diligence and final legal documents, so it is not completed financing.
