Gold Strike Resources reported the first assay results from its 2026 drill program at the Florin Gold Project in Yukon on October 22. Hole 26F-01, drilled along the long axis of the resource footprint, returned 400 metres grading 0.53 grams of gold per tonne from 15 to 415 metres downhole. Within that interval, 50 metres from 236 to 286 metres averaged 1.07 g/t. The company describes Florin as a 100%-owned, road-accessible project.

The same hole also returned three deeper intervals: 32 metres at 0.23 g/t from 425 metres, 50 metres at 0.27 g/t from 476 metres, and 39 metres at 0.22 g/t from 548 metres. Gold Strike says these zones occur at depths not previously tested by historical drilling. They are separate intervals below the principal 400-metre composite, not additional lengths to add to it. The hole ended at 588.6 metres.

Two individual one-metre samples were the highest-grade reported in the hole: 11.5 g/t from 248 metres and 10.4 g/t from 284 metres. They fall inside the broader interval reported at 0.53 g/t, and the release does not present them as separate mineable widths. The company’s assay table includes azimuth and dip, but the reported core lengths are downhole measurements. The release explicitly says there has not been enough drilling to determine true widths.

The hole is the first result from an 11-hole 2026 program. Gold Strike says seven holes were planned to define or expand the resource footprint, subject to assays and an updated mineral-resource estimate. The other four targeted exploration ground, with three holes west and one east of the current footprint. Assays from the remaining ten holes were still pending in the October 22 announcement, so this first result is only a partial view of the completed program.

The company’s technical note describes Florin as hosting a pit-constrained inferred resource of 2.507 million ounces of gold, represented by 162.7 million tonnes grading 0.48 g/t at a 0.30 g/t cut-off. The referenced technical report has an effective date of December 5, 2025. That inferred estimate is a prior resource classification; it is not a reserve, and the new drilling has not yet been incorporated into an updated estimate. The release makes an updated estimate dependent on further results and technical work.

Gold Strike says hole 26F-01 extends the gold zone identified by historical drilling near surface both deeper and to the east. That is the company’s interpretation of the section and nearby drill pattern. The deeper intervals are described as indications of mineralization at previously untested depth, but a single hole cannot establish the lateral continuity or geometry of those intervals. The assays should therefore be read as observations along this hole rather than as a stand-alone expansion of the resource.

The company transported core by helicopter from the rig to a laydown area on Big Creek, then by truck to its Whitehorse logging facility. Geologists logged and photographed the HQ/NQ core, cut it lengthwise with a diamond saw and used one-metre sample lengths; the remaining half was retained. Gold Strike inserted standards, blanks and duplicates into each laboratory batch, nominally at least one of each per 35 samples. Actlabs’ Kamloops laboratory performed the analyses and is independent of the company.

Gold assays used 50-gram fire-assay subsamples with an atomic-absorption finish; samples above 10 g/t were reanalysed with a gravimetric finish. A separate 49-element analysis was also conducted. David Kelsch, P.Geo., reviewed and approved the technical information as the qualified person. The data block records the main and deeper assays, the individual one-metre samples, hole depth and the earlier inferred resource. All reported interval lengths remain downhole lengths with true widths undetermined.

## Data

### Florin 2026 drill results

Assay grades and downhole interval lengths from hole 26F-01, plus the prior inferred resource reported by the company.

Methodology: Drill intervals and grades are issuer-reported downhole composites; true widths are undetermined and must not be inferred. The inferred resource is from a technical report effective Dec. 5, 2025, at a 0.30 g/t cut-off; it is not a reserve and predates the reported drilling. The new assays are observed exploration results, not resource or production figures.
