# INRAE study identifies soil particles as a transport route for PFAS

Four soil monoliths from a former firefighting training site received 20 millimetres of simulated rain; researchers measured 39 PFAS in drainage water before and after centrifugation. The results may improve contamination-risk models; they are not new measurements of contamination in crops or drinking water.
