Of the total, 848 million were domestic and 264 million were international trips to another EU country; figures are rounded. Ninety-two percent of trips by EU residents stayed within the EU and 8% went outside it. Spending was reported at €266.2 billion for domestic trips and €379.4 billion for foreign trips; foreign-trip spending includes destinations outside the EU and should not be read as intra-EU spending alone. ## Data ### EU residents’ trips, 2025 Rounded counts of personal and business trips.
