# Egypt’s exports to South Korea rose 11.2% in first half

CAPMAS data put exports at $44.6 million, up from $40.1 million in the same period of 2025, a rise of 11.2%. Imports from South Korea fell to $595.7 million from $661.1 million, while total trade declined to $640.3 million from $701.2 million.

South Korean investment in Egypt was reported at $736.3 million in the first half of fiscal 2025/26, compared with $77.2 million in the corresponding period a year earlier. Remittances from South Koreans working in Egypt were $4.82 million, against $4.84 million previously.
