# Egypt opens first Alamein–Africa Business Forum

> President Sisi opened the inaugural Alamein–Africa Business Forum in New Alamein. The forum aims to strengthen partnerships among African governments, companies and entrepreneurs.

The Egyptian initiative was endorsed by the African Union and is planned every two years in New Alamein. Organizers include Egypt’s government, the AU Commission, AUDA-NEPAD and Afreximbank.
