# Egypt and World Bank discuss mining-sector roadmap

> Planning Minister Ahmed Rostom and World Bank metals and minerals director Namrata Thapar discussed a framework for developing Egypt’s mining sector. A proposed roadmap would cover mineral resources and supply chains.
