# Dubai economic zones record AED246 billion in trade in H1 2026

> Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) reported that trade across its three economic zones reached AED246 billion in the first half of 2026, up 17% from the same period a year earlier. WAM published the report on 18 October; the measurement period is January–June 2026.

Imports were AED134.8 billion, re-exports about AED108.8 billion and direct exports about AED2.4 billion. Trade volume was reported at about 270,000 tonnes, compared with about 298,000 tonnes in H1 2025. Values and volume are separate measures, and the periods compare the same six months.
