# DR Congo medical order urges doctors to keep AI use within ethical limits

> National Medical Order president Berthier Nsadi urged doctors at a Kinshasa conference on October 10 to use AI within the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and equity.

National Medical Order president Berthier Nsadi urged doctors at a Kinshasa conference on October 10 to use AI within the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and equity.

Nsadi said AI in healthcare should not create disparities or discrimination or raise care costs. He said doctors retain responsibility for final diagnoses and prescriptions.

The statement sets out ethical principles voiced at the conference. ACP reported no new binding regulation or clinical-effectiveness result.
