# DR Congo reports provisional CDF533.2bn Treasury deficit on October 8

The same weekly note put commercial banks’ CDF holdings at the central bank at CDF3,601.13 billion on October 9, up 1.15% from CDF3,560.1 billion a week earlier. These are two separate indicators with different dates. The source said the early-month deficit preceded major tax receipts and was covered through Treasury deposits.
