In Chocó, the aftershock count remained at 334 because no new aftershocks were located during the 24 hours before the October 1 bulletin. The separate swarm near several municipalities had more than 1,568 located events, including 31 of magnitude 4.0 ML or higher. Four events between magnitude 2.0 and 4.0 ML were located on October 1.
