The company describes the G302 as a 200G SerDes top-of-rack switch with 51.2 Tb/s switching capacity. The design also supports 1.6T optics and direct-to-chip liquid cooling.

Cisco said G302 shipments are expected to begin before the end of 2026. That timetable is the company’s forward-looking plan; the announcement does not state that G302 has already shipped to customers.

## Data

### Scope of the announced design

Cisco introduced its G302 Ethernet switch and other updates for more open data-center systems at OCP 2026.

Methodology: Records the switching capacity Cisco announced for the G302; this is a manufacturer specification. The source states G302 switching capacity as 51.2T. In the network-switching context, the table represents this as 51.2 Tb/s and converts it using the decimal prefix: 51.2 × 10¹² bit/s.

| Product specification | Value |
|---|---|
| G302 switching capacity | 51200000000000 |
