The proposals cite potential for 6,530 direct jobs. They include BRL 1.26 billion for the Paranaguá access channel, BRL 1.12 billion for a container terminal in Aracruz and BRL 383.1 million for five pulp and timber vessels on Rio Grande do Sul’s Lagoa dos Patos. Projects span Amazonas, Pará, Espírito Santo, Bahia, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Santa Catarina.
