The agency says the platform brings together economic and geospatial data on the mining sector. The portal uses maps, dashboards, publications and indicators on mineral research and production to show how mining activity is distributed across the country. ANM said users can examine areas producing critical and strategic minerals and the regional distribution of exploration investment. The agency launched the platform weeks after Brazil approved its national critical-minerals policy. ## Data ### Brazil’s Critical and Strategic Minerals Portal launched ANM presented an online platform bringing together economic and geospatial data on mining on 14 October 2026.
