# Brazil opens consultation on AI ethics tools for human research

> Inaep, part of Brazil’s health ministry, opened a public consultation on 15 October on three documents about ethical AI use in research involving human participants. The contribution period closes on 31 March 2027.

The documents comprise an ethical-use guide, a reference workbook and the Mariah risk-assessment matrix.
