# Anvisa bans sales of irregular medicines in Brazil

Brazil’s health regulator Anvisa banned the sale of several irregular medicines on October 6. The measures cover insulin glargine distributed by a company without authorization, a compounded medicine marketed to the public without prescriptions, and unregistered peptides.
