# FAA certifies Boeing 737-10 for commercial service

Boeing said the certification programme included nearly 1,000 flights, more than 2,000 flight hours and 1,000 hours of ground testing. The company says the aircraft typically seats 185–210 passengers in a two-class layout and has 1,555 orders from more than 30 customers; these figures are the manufacturer’s statements.
