The company cited lower planned concentrator feed grades, maintenance, severe weather in Chile, safety stoppages and a conveyor failure at Carrapateena among the factors. Iron ore production rose 4% year over year to 66.5 million tonnes, and BHP reported quarterly records at WAIO’s mine and port. The company kept its FY27 copper guidance at 1.65–1.80 million tonnes.
