Azincourt Energy reported additional results from its 2026 drilling at the Snegamook uranium deposit in Labrador on October 22. Two new holes, SN0047 and SN0048, added 529 metres to the program, bringing completed work to 1,069 metres in four holes. The company said it expected the program to reach about 1,800 metres across six or seven holes, after a later-than-planned start.

The most notable interval in the update came from SN0048, drilled two metres from historical hole SN-08-24 as a twin. Downhole gamma measurements indicated 19.0 metres grading 0.03% eU₃O₈, including shorter intervals reported at 0.05%, within a broader 31.6-metre zone of elevated radioactivity. Azincourt described the host interval as healed brecciated monzodiorite gneiss cut by thin amphibolite dykes, with uranium mineralization occurring as fracture coatings and disseminations.

Hole SN0047 was drilled 50 metres ahead of historical hole SN-08-06 to test the mineralized horizon about 35 metres up-dip. It reached 254 metres and encountered several small radioactive zones over 29.5 metres in similar brecciated gneiss. The reported highlight was 0.8 metres at 0.03% eU₃O₈, including 0.3 metres at 0.06%. The company said uranium mineralization was not readily visible in the core and that the gamma survey may indicate the hole passed close to the target.

The release places the new holes within a program designed to test historical intersections and improve the geological record at Snegamook. Three holes have targeted the zone around SN-08-06, where historical sampling reported 0.97% U₃O₈ over 0.5 metres; the fourth followed up SN-08-24, where historical sampling reported 0.05% over 20 metres, including 0.118% over two metres. The first two 2026 holes were disclosed on October 14, so the October 22 update concerns the subsequent pair and revised program total.

The 2026 work also includes retrieving and examining stored historical core, engaging an independent qualified person to review available material, and testing selected historical intersections with twin holes. Azincourt said an earlier preliminary resource exercise begun in 2008 was never finalized or filed; the deposit therefore has no established current or historical mineral resource. The company is gathering confirmatory data to assess whether a future estimate could be prepared under applicable standards.

The figures labelled eU₃O₈ are preliminary radiometric equivalent grades calculated from downhole gamma readings, not laboratory chemical assays. Assays were pending when the release was issued, and the reported interval lengths are downhole measurements rather than established true widths. The program is being conducted from the Florence Lake camp, which the company placed about 170 kilometres north of Goose Bay.

Methodology: Values transcribed from Azincourt’s October 22 release. eU₃O₈ is a preliminary radiometric equivalent derived from downhole gamma readings, not a laboratory assay; reported lengths are downhole lengths.
