The utility said the winners of 11 regional rounds competed in a theory stage with 20 questions. In the practical round, teams carried out simulated tasks involving rescue and first aid for a person receiving an electric shock, firefighting, and repair and restoration work on a 10 kV line. Contestants then presented innovation projects they had prepared in advance. Yasamal RETSI placed first, followed by Khachmaz ES and Astara ES.
