New registrations across all motor-vehicle categories reached 329,109, up 11.8%. Among passenger cars, 63,172 battery-electric vehicles were registered, a 36.9% increase and 26.2% of the period’s total. In September alone, 28,968 passenger cars were registered, including 9,723 battery-electric cars, equal to 33.6% of that month’s passenger-car registrations.
