DGE aims to upskill 20,000 government employees by the end of the year. The employee learning path covers responsible everyday use of tools including ChatGPT, Codex and Microsoft 365 Copilot, with later function-specific certifications planned in fields such as coding and data.

Public learning will be available through the Tomouh app and UAE Pass. The source says an initial government pilot is under way before public rollout; 20,000 is a target, not a count already trained.
