Die Bundesregierung und New Brunswick kündigten mehr als 7,1 Millionen kanadische Dollar für zwei kommunale Infrastrukturvorhaben an. In Beaurivage sollen Erweiterungen der Wasser-, Abwasser- und Regenwassernetze eine neue Wohnsiedlung ermöglichen, die bis zu 150 Wohnungen umfassen könnte, darunter 20 bezahlbare Einheiten.

In Grand-Bouctouche sollen auf drei Straßen insgesamt 720 Meter Gehwege erneuert oder ergänzt sowie drei Bodenschwellen und Schilder nahe einer Schulzone installiert werden. Ziel ist laut Mitteilung mehr Sicherheit für Fußgänger, darunter Schüler und Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität. Beaurivage wird von Bund, Provinz und Gemeinde finanziert; das Projekt für aktive Mobilität von Bund und Gemeinde.
