# رولز-رويس ومكين توقعان ترخيصاً لإنتاج محركات في السعودية

وقّعت رولز-رويس باور سيستمز والشركة السعودية لصناعة المحركات «مكين» اتفاقية ترخيص فردية لإنتاج وتجميع محركات mtu Series 2000 البحرية محلياً في السعودية. وقالت الشركة في إعلانها الصادر في 1 أكتوبر إن هذه أول رخصة لإنتاج محركات عالية السرعة محلياً في المملكة.

ويأتي الاتفاق بعد اتفاقية ترخيص إطارية وقّعها الطرفان في نوفمبر 2023. وسيركز العمل المقبل على إنشاء قدرات الإنتاج الأولية. وذكر الإعلان أن تطبيقات السكك الحديدية قد تأتي لاحقاً بعد المجال البحري، من دون تحديد طاقة إنتاجية أو موعد لبدء الإنتاج.
